GOD DETHRONED To Replace KATAKLYSM On Remainder of BOLT THROWER European Tour
April 24, 2006According to a posting on the official web site of the Dutch death metal band GOD DETHRONED, Canadian extreme metallers KATAKLYSM are leaving the BOLT THROWER European tour and GOD DETHRONED are stepping in for the remaining dates on the "Those Still Loyal" trek. The affected shows are as follows:

GOD DETHRONED are scheduled to enter the Soundlodge Studios in Germany in May to begin recoring their new album, tentatively due before the end of the year.
GOD DETHRONED's most recent album, "The Lair of the White Worm", was released in November 2004 via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Into the Lungs of Hell" was recorded at Berno Studios in Malmö, Sweden by Henrik Larsson and was mastered at Franky's Recording Kitchen by Berthus Westerhuis. It marks the group's first release with new members, guitarist Isaac De La Haye (who replaced Jens van der Valk) and bassist Henk "Henke" Zinger (GRINDMINDED).
